분석가에게 필요한 가장 기초적 기술은 프로그래밍 능력이다. 이번 문제는 기초적인 프로그래밍 능력을 평가한다.

문제에 접속해보면 연산자를 맞추는 문제로 총 100문제를 풀어야 하는 문제이다. 간단하게 pwntools를 이용해서 스트림을 받아서 파싱 후 해당되는 연산자를 보내면 된다.

문제 페이지에 접속해보면 위와 같이 CCE 엔터테이먼트 웹 페이지가 나온다. 해당 문제 페이지는 얼핏 보면 볼 내용이 많아보이지만 문제를 위해 제작된 페이지로 실제 기능을 하는 곳이 거의 없다.

2.1 SQL Injection 인젝션 테스트

메인 페이지 하단에 이름, 이메일, 메시지를 작성하고 보내는 기능이 있다. 해당 부분의 소스코드를 보면 action 부분이 "#"으로 되어있는 것을 볼 때 기능 구현이 안되있다.

문제 페이지에 접속해보면 로그인 창이 있는 것을 확인할 수 있다. SQL Injection 문제임을 직감하고 기본적인 SQL Injection 취약점 진단 코드 ' or 1=1 --를 입력해봤는데 문제가 풀렸다.

시스템에서 기록된 이벤트 분석은 포렌식 기술의 기본이다. 이번 문제는 이벤트 분석 기술을 평가한다. Detect anomalies through event log analysis!

문제 로그파일을 확인해보면 2021-05-21 오후 6:17:14에 cmd를 실행한 흔적을 찾을 수 있다. cmd 명령어는 난독화가 되어있고 각 난독화 되어 있는 변수들은 각각 특정 문자와 맵핑 되어있다.

각 난독화 되있는 명령어를 치환하면 위와 같은 결과가 나온다.

웹 어플리케이션의 기능이 잘못 설계된 경우 내부의 비공개 정보를 노출하는 문제가 발생할 수 있다. 이번 문제는 게시판 기능에서 발생하는 전형적인 정보 노출 취약점 이해를 평가한다.

문제 페이지에 접속해보면 검색하는 페이지가 나온다. Permission이 All인 게시글을 접속이 가능하지만 hacker인 게시글은 접속이 불가하다. 대신 게시글의 내용을 검색할 수 있는 기능이 존재한다.

플래그가 cce{.....}로 구성된 것을 유추해볼 때 "ca"를 검색하면 나오지 않지만 "cc"를 검색하면 검색 결과가 나온다. 따라서 검색 결과로 Permission에 "All"이 나오지 않고 "hey hacker"가 나오는 조건의 문자열을 brute forcing했다.

2-1. What is the URI where the attacker downloaded the credential dump tool? (URL) (40 points)

공격자가 크리덴셜 덤프 툴을 다운받은 URI를 찾는 문제이다. 우선 문제 파일을 보면 data.zip이 있다. 압축을 해제한 뒤 data 폴더 안을 보면 크게 ProgramData, Users, Windows 폴더가 존재한다.

첫번째로 파일을 다운 받은 경로 중에 제일 많이 사용하는 경로인 %TEMP% 경로는 존재하지 않는다.

※ BITS(Background Intelligent Transfer Service)를 이용한 파일 다운로드 시 로그 경로

두번째로 %ProgramData%\Microsoft\Network\Downloader 경로를 확인하면 파일 다운로드에 대한 로그를 확인할 수 있다.

2-1. Why did the user fail to Windows backup? (15 points)

사용자가 Windows 백업에 실패한 이유를 찾는 문제이다. 따라서 Windows 백업과 관련된 이벤트 로그 파일과 이벤트 ID 기반으로 검색을 했다.

OS 별로 이벤트 아이디가 다를 수 있기 때문에 우선적으로 해당 이벤트 로그 파일들이 어떤 OS에서 발생한 이벤트인지 확인해보면 Windows 10 18362임을 확인할 수 있다. Windows 10에서 백업과 관련된 이벤트 로그는 Microsoft-Windows-Backup.evtx와 Application.evtx이다.

첫 번째로 Microsoft-Windows-Backup.evtx 이벤트 로그를 확인해보면 별다른 에러 로그를 볼 수 없었다.

메모리 덤프파일이 어떤 운영체제의 메모리를 덤프한 파일인지 확인하는 문제이다.

조건으로는 Product version과 Build number까지 확인해야 한다. 우선 문제 파일을 보면 mem.7z이 있다. 압축을 해제한 뒤 Volatility3 와 strings 명령을 이용한다.

첫 번째로 메모리 내에 운영체제와 관련된 문자열이 어떤 것이 있는지 아래의 명령을 통해 확인한다.

문제 지문을 보면 레스토랑의 폰번호가 플래그임을 확인할 수 있다.

문제의 링크를 접속해보면 아래와 같은 그림을 볼 수 있다.

레스토랑을 특정할만한 내용은 이미지에 보이는 일부 상표뿐이다. 따라서 이미지를 확대해서 상표를 확인해봤다. 상표의 일부 내용은 "LE CONCHE"로 보이고 그 밑의 글씨는 잘 안보이지만 앞뒤 단어를 유추해보면 "CHOCOLATE"로 보인다. 이 두 키워드로 검색을 해봤다.
